Lead Solutions Architect – Singapore | Just After Midnight (JAM)

Just After Midnight (JAM) is part of the Trustmarque Ultima Group, bringing together JAM’s specialist cloud and managed services expertise with the scale, capability and extensive technology portfolio of the wider Group.

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Solutions Architect to join JAM’s growing APAC business, based in Singapore.

This is a senior, customer-facing role for someone who can combine deep technical expertise with commercial credibility and technical leadership.

You’ll be at the heart of the solutions we design, sell and deliver — working with customers from initial discovery and pre-sales conversations through to architecture, implementation and ongoing managed services.

What you’ll be doing

️ Lead Cloud Architecture

Own the architecture and technical delivery of complex cloud projects across AWS and other major cloud platforms, including migrations, modernisation, multi-account and multi-region environments.

Support Pre-Sales & Growth

Work alongside our sales and AWS partner teams on discovery sessions, solution design, scoping, estimating and proposals across private and public sector opportunities.

️ Be Our Design Authority

Set the technical standard for APAC. Review and sign off architecture and security decisions, challenge designs where necessary and act as the named technical owner for major solutions.

Shape AI Solutions

Help customers understand where AI genuinely adds value, contribute to the development of our AI services and support JAM’s AWS AI competency work.

Lead Customer Onboarding

Run technical discovery and onboarding for new managed service customers, ensuring a smooth transition into our 24/7 operational environment.

Develop the Team

Provide technical leadership across our APAC engineering team, supporting recruitment, mentoring and capability development while working closely with our wider offshore delivery teams.

Operational Leadership

Act as a senior escalation point for complex incidents and contribute to the L2 support rota.

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring:

• Extensive hands-on experience across AWS plus Azure or GCP

• Experience leading complex, large-scale cloud migrations and modernisation programmes

• Strong architecture/design authority experience

• Experience developing and providing technical direction to engineers

• Strong pre-sales and customer-facing skills

• Practical knowledge of Generative AI and managed AI services

• A strong managed services background and understanding of production environments

• Experience with technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, CDN, WAF, Cloudflare and AWS WAF

• Excellent communication skills, from engineering teams through to C-level stakeholders

• At least one professional-level cloud certification, ideally AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Google Professional Cloud Architect

If you’re currently at associate certification level, we’ll support and fund your progression to professional level during your first year.

Nice to have

Experience with Singapore public sector/government cloud, Sitecore or similar application platforms, digital agencies, enterprise environments, cloud security, Linux and Windows workloads, or legacy application modernisation would all be valuable.
