KPR Food Caterers Sdn Bhd is Malaysia’s leading halal catering company with more than 2 decades of operational excellence. With a headcount of 150, we serve a wide range of events, from Government, Corporate, SMI, SME and Grand Weddings to Private Parties. We also operate food trucks, restaurants, cafes and event halls by expanding our footprint in the F&B industry in Klang Valley.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and administration for KPR HQ, restaurants, food truck operations and other business units.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfer, promotion, resignation and exit processes.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews and selection.
- Prepare employment letters, confirmation letters, warning/show-cause letters and other HR-related documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, lateness, absenteeism and overtime.
- Assist in monthly payroll processing and ensure accurate employee information for payroll.
- Manage statutory contributions and HR-related submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB, where applicable.
- Manage and monitor foreign worker documentation and permits, including work permit renewals, passport records, medical checks and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities, agencies and service providers regarding foreign worker-related matters.
- Ensure HR practices and documentation comply with applicable Malaysian employment laws and company policies.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace issues professionally and confidentially.
- Assist management in conducting disciplinary procedures, investigations and preparation of relevant documentation.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, training and development programmes.
- Maintain and update company HR policies, procedures, SOPs and employee handbook.
- Monitor staff performance during probation and coordinate confirmation processes with department heads.
- Work closely with department managers to address manpower requirements, staffing issues and employee performance.
- Participate in KPR's internal Halal audits and compliance activities.
- Assist in maintaining employee-related documentation required for Halal compliance and audit purposes.
- Monitor and ensure employees comply with relevant Halal requirements, hygiene practices, food-handling procedures and company Halal SOPs.
- Conduct regular checks on employee compliance with Halal and MESTI requirements within their respective work areas and escalate non-compliance to management.
- Assist in preparing corrective actions and follow-up for any employee-related Halal or MESTI non-compliance.
- Ensure employees receive appropriate training and awareness on Halal, MESTI, hygiene, food safety and company compliance requirements.
- Prepare HR, manpower, compliance and employee-related reports for management.
- Support staff engagement activities, company events and employee welfare initiatives.
- Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of all employee and HR-related documents.
- Perform other HR and compliance-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience is preferred.
- Experience in F&B, hospitality, manufacturing, retail or other operational environments will be an advantage.
- Experience handling foreign worker permits and documentation will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Malaysian employment practices and statutory requirements.
- Knowledge or experience in Halal, MESTI, food safety or internal compliance audits will be an added advantage.
- Experience in recruitment, payroll, attendance management and employee relations.
- Strong organisational, administrative and documentation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Mature, responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Willing to work closely with operational teams and travel between KPR locations when required.
