About The Job.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end commercial management and procurement activities for major industrial projects.

• Conduct accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and valuation assessments for civil, structural, and architectural scopes.
• Analyze tender specifications, drawings, and contract documentation to identify scope gaps and manage cost risks.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate sub-contractor proposals to secure competitive pricing and establish robust procurement strategies.
• Prepare, process, and track progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts to ensure optimal project cost control.
• Collaborate closely with project management, site engineers, and external vendors to maintain budget alignment throughout project execution.
  
  

Skills And Experience Required.

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Commercial management experience within the industrial construction sector, ideally with a main contractor.
• Solid technical understanding of civil, structural, and architectural building systems and standard contract terms.
• Proficiency in estimation and design software, including AutoCAD and specialized quantity surveying software.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills to manage diverse vendor relationships and site stakeholders.
