Full Time WORKS TRAIN SUPERINTENDENT Jobs, Salary up to SGD 4,500 in GATES PCM CONSTRUCTION LTD Southeast (Singapore) - Maukerja

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the overall Works Train operations and related site activities

Plan and coordinate manpower, train movements, work schedules, and operational resources.

Ensure Works Train and track-access activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, project teams, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Conduct safety briefings and ensure personnel comply with applicable operational and safety requirements.

Lead and manage operational incidents, accidents, emergencies, and recovery measures.

Supervise the performance, competency, discipline, and work activities of the Works Train operations team.

Lead and take charge of the Works Train Safety Supervisors (WTSS) and Works Train Operators (WTO).

Monitor operational activities and prepare regular reports for the Officer-in-Charge.

Provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective and safe Works Train operations.

Requirements

Diploma in Engineering or GCE A-Levels with at least 5 years of relevant working experience or an equivalent local qualification

Good knowledge and experience in Works Train operations and railway safety requirements.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to prepare and submit weekly operational reports.

Able to conduct safety briefings related to Works Train operations.

Able to work independently and undertake overtime work as required.

Able to effectively manage incidents, accidents, and emergency situations, including implementing appropriate recovery measures.

Able to lead and supervise WTSS and WTO teams effectively.

Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Relevant experience in railway construction, railway maintenance, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
