Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for DF Automation & Robotics products.
- Perform installation, wiring, setup, testing, and commissioning of equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues.
- Escalate complex technical problems to the Engineering or R&D team when required.
- Assist in integrating automation systems into customers’ existing setups based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, inspection, calibration, and servicing activities.
- Minimize system downtime by responding promptly to service calls.
- Prepare and submit service reports detailing issues, root causes, corrective actions, and recommendations.
- Support customers with basic operational guidance and ensure proper system usage.
- Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and Production teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Execute assigned technical tasks in accordance with company standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, safety standards, and industry developments in automation and robotics.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, professionalism, and dedication to completing assigned tasks on time.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and other company activities as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings; basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for electro-mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with automation or robotics equipment, sensors, controllers, and communication interfaces; comfort working with tools and test equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team at customer sites.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to work on-site, travel to customer locations, and adapt to industrial environments while following safety practices.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in electronics, mechatronics, robotics, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior field service, maintenance, or installation experience in automation, robotics, or industrial equipment is an advantage.
