Role Description The Registrar is a full-time role responsible for overseeing student enrollment, records management, and academic administration at Crux Institute. This hybrid position is based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with some flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing student admissions and registration processes, maintaining accurate academic records and databases, and coordinating class schedules and course offerings. The Registrar will also support compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements, prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, and respond to student and faculty inquiries regarding academic procedures. Collaboration with academic and administrative teams to improve processes and ensure a positive learner experience is an integral part of the role.
Qualifications
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, including experience with student records, data entry, and document management.
  • Proficiency with database systems, student information systems, and common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation tools).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, faculty, and external partners in a professional and inclusive manner.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information, with a commitment to confidentiality and data protection.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and adapt to changing institutional needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in higher education administration, registrarial services, or related fields is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with academic policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
