Full Time QA-QC EXECUTIVE - INSPECTOR Jobs, in HLH BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

About the role

This is a site-based role responsible for ensuring works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, workmanship standards and company quality requirements. The QA/QC function will work independently across HLH project teams to maintain consistent quality standards throughout the company.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site quality inspections.

• Check workmanship against approved drawings, specifications and requirements.

• Inspect architectural, interior fit-out and general construction works.

• Identify defects, non-conforming works and workmanship issues.

• Issue and follow up QA/QC observations and rectification items.

• Maintain inspection records, checklists, photographs and quality documentation.

• Conduct pre-handover inspections and prepare defect lists.

• Follow up with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Site Supervisors and subcontractors until defects are closed.

• Assist in developing standard QA/QC checklists for HLH projects.

• Monitor material quality and installation standards.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant construction or QA/QC experience preferred.

• Experience in interior fit-out, architectural works or commercial construction is an advantage.

• Good understanding of construction drawings and workmanship requirements.

• Detail-oriented and willing to inspect works personally on site.

• Able to identify defects and communicate rectification requirements clearly.

• Able to work independently across multiple project sites.

• Willing to travel/outstation when required.

• Possess own transport and valid driving licence preferred.
