Role Description The Human Resources Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including managing employee records, coordinating recruitment activities, arranging interviews, and assisting in onboarding and orientation programs. The role includes handling payroll and attendance data, supporting performance review processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant employment regulations. The Human Resources Executive will also assist in organizing training and development initiatives, employee engagement activities, and addressing routine HR queries from team members. This role works closely with HR leadership and line managers to promote a positive, fair, and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Proficiency in HR administration, including maintaining personnel records, handling HR documentation, and supporting payroll and attendance processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply employment laws, regulations, and company policies in a consistent and non-discriminatory manner.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members at all levels and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple HR tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency with HR software and MS Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation, and data management.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
- Previous experience in an HR support or executive role, ideally within retail or a fast-paced multi-branch environment.
