Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and offboarding.
  • Provide support in processing payroll and verifying employee claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant procedures.
  • Partner with management and department heads to understand business and manpower needs and develop appropriate people strategies.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offer management and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and initiatives in line with business needs and Singapore employment regulations.
  • Update regularly HR benefits and policies into share portal for staff access and reading
  • Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary cases, performance issues and workplace conflicts.
  • Co-ordinate annual performance appraisal, salary review, bonus and promotion exercises.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR information in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations and update into required software application
  • Oversee employee onboarding, probation confirmation, transfers, resignations and exit processes.
  • Support workforce planning, manpower budgeting and headcount management.
  • Manage work pass and employment-related matters for foreign employees where applicable.
  • Work with managers to identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant learning programmes.
  • Attend online and onprem meeting from time to time for management meeting, interview sessions etc.
  • Develop and support employee engagement, retention, wellbeing and company culture initiatives.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and organise company events and activities to celebrate special occasions and foster employee engagement.
  • Monitor HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment and employee costs, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Support organisational changes, restructuring, team expansion and other HR projects as required.
  • Keep abreast of changes in Singapore employment legislation and ensure HR practices and policies remain compliant.
  • Assist with applications for government grants and funding opportunities, as required.
  • Manage external HR vendors other HR-related service providers where required.
  • Undertake other HR-related duties and projects as assigned by management.
