Role Description:

The Event Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bandar Baru Bangi, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that align with the company’s brand and strategic objectives.

Day-to-day tasks include developing event concepts, creating detailed event plans and timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

The role involves overseeing event logistics such as venue setup, audio-visual requirements, catering, and guest management, and ensuring all regulatory and safety requirements are met.

The Event Manager will supervise event staff, manage on-the-day operations to ensure smooth execution, and handle post-event evaluation and reporting.

This role also includes maintaining strong client and partner relationships, contributing ideas for event marketing, and continuously improving event processes and standards.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should possess strong event planning and project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination.

• Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners.

• Candidates should have proven organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

• Candidates should be adept at problem-solving and decision-making, especially in fast-paced, on-site event environments.

• Candidates should be comfortable with basic digital tools and event-related technologies, such as office productivity software and event management platforms.

• Relevant experience in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field is highly beneficial.

• A diploma or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Ability to work on-site around Klang Valley, including occasional evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required by event schedules.
