Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.
- Monitor warehouse operations and identify areas for improvement to maximise productivity.
- Manage warehouse systems and processes to optimise operational efficiency.
- Monitor raw material deliveries and ensure stocks are stored and issued according to FIFO.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing cargo.
- Maintain proper identification and organisation of warehouse materials.
- Implement an effective materials transfer system.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and support inventory planning for future requirements.
- Prepare and issue raw materials and packaging materials to Production based on stock requests and BMR requirements.
- Conduct monthly physical inventory counts and stock audits.
- Prepare monthly inventory reports covering raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
- Ensure the warehouse, receiving and distribution areas are maintained in a clean, safe and secure condition.
- Maintain proper filing and arrangement of warehouse documents.
- Perform other duties and assignments as assigned by Management or Supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 years of relevant warehouse or inventory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Computer literate.
- Good organisational and inventory management skills.
- Experience with FIFO and stocktaking will be advantageous.
