Job Summary
The DevSecOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation, observability, and security capabilities for cloud-native environments. You will enable reliable, secure product delivery and improve cloud operations for Enterprise Singapore’s digital products.
Responsibilities
Plan and build reusable DevSecOps platform components to support in-house and new digital products
Integrate observability tools across applications, infrastructure, and distributed cloud services to enhance service health visibility
Establish and maintain standard engineering practices to enable product teams to deploy and operate services reliably
Develop and automate cloud operational workflows to ensure consistent, secure, and efficient cloud provisioning and maintenance
Create reusable infrastructure modules and automation workflows to reduce manual effort and improve adoption of approved cloud patterns
Embed security controls into cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines, automating vulnerability management, access control, and compliance checks
Support incident response and problem management by diagnosing complex issues and improving availability through monitoring and automation
Maintain operational tooling including dashboards, alerting standards, runbooks, and continuous service improvements
Collaborate with cloud operations, security, infrastructure, and product teams to uplift engineering practices and support digital transformation
Required competencies and certifications
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Experience designing and operating automation, observability, and security capabilities in cloud-native environments
Hands-on experience implementing observability across applications, infrastructure, and distributed cloud services
Proficiency in infrastructure as code, configuration management, and operational automation
Experience embedding security controls into cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS
Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD platforms, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Experience supporting government, public-sector, or other highly regulated environments
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience with GovTech platforms, including StackOps, and establishing consistent monitoring standards across product teams
