Full Time Technician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in Exsim Hospitality Berhad Selangor - Maukerja

As the Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

· Inspect guestrooms, public space and back of house areas to repair, touch up or replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, and furniture, wall covering caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous repairs.

· Considerable knowledge of a wide variety of maintenance trades in order to visually inspect and detect items needing repair.

· Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical experience is used frequently on the job.

· Performing the above-mentioned duties requires, experience in using basic hand and power tools and the ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push and pull weights up to 80 lbs. as well as the ability to climb ladders up to 30 feet high and reach in all directions, often time’s overhead is also required.

· Maintain all tools, equipment and working areas in good and safe condition.

· Respond promptly to maintenance calls in hotel premises.

· Detailed record keeping in English is required for logs and inspection sheets.

· Report any health and safety issues observed onsite.

· Assist in hotel operations when required.

EDUCATION LEVEL
High school diploma, SPM, or SVM (Sijil Vokasional Malaysia); 2–4 years’ experience in general maintenance, electrical, or plumbing work.

OR

Certificate or Diploma from a vocational institute (e.g., IKBN, ILP, or Kolej Komuniti) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration; 0–2 years’ experience (Fresh graduates with strong internship records are welcome).

YEARS OF EXPERIENCES

• At least 2 years’ experience in building maintenance, preferably within the hospitality or commercial sector.
• Core Technical Competencies: * HVAC/AC: Ability to service and troubleshoot split units and FCUs (Fan Coil Units).
• Electrical: Basic wiring, bulb replacement, and troubleshooting power trips.
• Plumbing: Clearing blockages, fixing leaks, and maintaining pumps.
• Carpentry/Masonry: Minor furniture repairs, painting, and tiling.
• Must be comfortable working with hand tools and power tools safely.
• Ability to work on rotating shifts, including nights and public holidays, to handle emergency repairs.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
