Social Media Operation Specialist

Location: KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur (Onsite)

Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Salary Range: RM4,000 - RM5,000

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Social Media Operations Specialist to manage user interactions and support daily operations across Discord, GitHub, Reddit, and other digital platforms. This role is well-suited for individuals with a technical background who enjoy problem-solving, user support, and working closely with product and development teams to deliver an excellent user experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries and provide operational support through Discord, GitHub, and Reddit platforms.
• Monitor daily platform activities and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain user engagement and a positive user experience across online platforms.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the Product or Development Team in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain FAQs, knowledge base articles, and operational documentation.
• Provide prompt, professional, and accurate responses to user questions and feedback.
• Support the integration and coordination of activities across multiple online platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical or programming background with the ability to communicate effectively with developers on technical matters.
• Experience using or managing platforms such as Discord, GitHub, and Reddit.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, responsive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Experience in online operations, user support, or platform management is an added advantage.
• Malaysian citizens are preferred.
