To support this transformation, SANH is establishing Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to provide strategic expertise and enterprise-wide leadership across the HR function. We are seeking an experienced Total Rewards leader to establish and lead our Cluster Centre of Excellence for Total Rewards.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Cluster Director, Human Resource, the Cluster Lead will establish and lead the Cluster Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Total Rewards, driving a comprehensive and future-focused rewards strategy across all SANH nursing homes.
This role is responsible for developing a competitive, equitable, and sustainable Total Rewards framework encompassing compensation, benefits, recognition, performance rewards, workforce planning, and HR analytics. As Cluster Lead, you will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, Operations, and senior leadership to ensure our people practices attract, retain, and motivate the talent needed to support SANH’s ambitious growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & CoE Establishment: Develop and execute SANH’s enterprise-wide Total Rewards strategy, establish the Total Rewards CoE, and build scalable frameworks, policies, standards, toolkits, and governance processes to support growth from 7 to 11 nursing homes.
- Compensation & Benefits Management: Lead annual salary reviews, market benchmarking, remuneration exercises, job evaluation methodologies, and salary structures. Review and optimize employee benefits for competitiveness and cost-effectiveness while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and healthcare sector regulations.
- Performance & Recognition: Design reward mechanisms and recognition programmes that reinforce a high-performance, values-driven culture, and partner with Talent Management to align rewards with leadership development and succession planning.
- Workforce Planning & HR Analytics: Lead workforce planning, manpower budgeting, and remuneration modelling to support organizational growth. Develop dashboards and analytics providing actionable insights on workforce costs, compensation trends, and reward effectiveness to enable evidence-based decision-making.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Partner closely with Finance on manpower budgets and long-term financial sustainability, work with Operations leaders on workforce attraction and retention, and collaborate with Talent Management, Learning & Development, and HR Operations to deliver an integrated employee experience.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive digitalization and process improvements in Total Rewards, benchmark SANH against healthcare and broader market practices, and identify innovative approaches that strengthen SANH’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
