Full Time Project Engineer Jobs, Salary up to SGD 5,000 in Yoong Tong Engineering Pte Ltd Southwest (Singapore) - Maukerja

Due to company expansion, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend client site surveys and meetings, and maintain regular communication with clients on ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Work closely with Project Coordinators and Supervisors to plan manpower requirements and optimise overall manpower resources for projects.
• Collaborate with the Drafting Department to develop preliminary designs for client approval, prepare material take-offs and carry out cost estimations for potential projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations and tender submissions for clients.
• Source and procure materials and consumables required for fabrication and project execution.
• Work closely with clients throughout project execution, including coordination of project schedules, testing and inspection hold points, and project close-out.
• Take overall responsibility for project delivery, including schedule, cost, quality and safety, ensuring projects are completed within budget and on schedule with minimal rework and no safety incidents.
• Conduct daily/weekly meetings with Project Coordinators and Supervisors to plan, prioritise, review and update project progress.
• Prepare Risk Assessments and submit them to clients for review and approval prior to commencement of work.
• Provide regular project status updates during weekly project meetings and through the company's shared project platform.
• Ensure all project documentation, including test packages, as-built drawings and other relevant records, are properly completed and maintained before project close-out.
• Ensure Delivery Orders (D.O.s), Job Completion Forms, progressive claims and invoices are properly signed, submitted and filed within one week of project completion.
• Maintain accountability for assigned client accounts, including project sales, quality performance and safety records.
• Ensure the overall safety and well-being of workers in both the workshop and client sites throughout project execution.
• Conduct at least one monthly safety audit using the company's audit checklist.
• Attend and actively participate in safety meetings organised by clients.
• Perform any other project-related duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in project engineering, fabrication, construction or engineering services will be an advantage.
• Experience in preparing quotations, tenders, cost estimates and project documentation.
• Good knowledge of project planning, cost control, quality control and workplace safety.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Strong coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willing to travel to client sites as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of relevant engineering/design software will be an advantage.
