Job Summary

************* seeks a Senior Mathematics & AI Learning Specialist to integrate mathematics teaching, learning design, and AI. Collaborate with AI and product teams to enhance AI understanding, solution explanations, and student support in mathematics learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine mathematical teaching methods tailored for Zairoo's AI Tutor to enhance student understanding
• Review AI-generated math solutions for accuracy, reasoning quality, and age-appropriate explanations
• Develop step-by-step solution frameworks incorporating mathematical reasoning and Bar Model techniques
• Identify common student misconceptions and translate them into AI tutoring and evaluation requirements
• Collaborate with AI engineers to improve prompts, reasoning flows, model responses, and educational accuracy
• Create test cases, evaluation criteria, and benchmark questions to assess AI performance
• Support development, tagging, and quality assurance of mathematics datasets and question banks
• Conduct product testing from teacher and student perspectives to ensure usability and effectiveness
• Recommend learning experience improvements based on curriculum standards and pedagogical best practices
• Work cross-functionally with Product, AI, Content, and UX/UI teams to align educational goals with product development

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Mathematics, Education, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related discipline

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring Primary Mathematics
• Knowledge of the Singapore Primary Mathematics curriculum
• Familiarity with AI tools, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or AI-assisted education
• Understanding of Bar Model methodology and mathematical problem-solving pedagogy
• Curriculum or educational content development experience
• EdTech product development or product testing experience
• Prompt engineering or AI evaluation/model testing skills
• Python or basic programming knowledge
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to translate educational requirements into clear product or technical requirements
• Comfortable evaluating AI outputs and identifying reasoning, accuracy, or teaching-quality issues
