Job Responsibilities
Transaction Processing & Reconciliation
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices are matched to purchase orders
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
Financial Reporting & Closing
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes• Prepare journal entries, including accruals and deferrals
- Generate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
Compliance & Audit Support
- Maintain adherence to relevant accounting standards and internal controls
- Prepare audit documentation and respond to auditor inquiries
Inventory Accounting & Cost Management
- Reconcile stock levels and track inventory held at third-party or vendor-managed locations
- Manage cost of goods sold (COGS) and analyze procurement or cost variances
Regulatory & Tax Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare and medical device regulatory requirements affecting financial reporting
- Manage GST and other statutory tax filings
Systems & Process Coordination
- Use accounting/ERP software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) to maintain accurate financial data
- Act as a liaison between finance, sales operations, and supply chain teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, with a track record of leading month-end/year-end close independently; experience in manufacturing, distribution, or healthcare is a strong advantage
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP or accounting software
- Meticulous, analytical, and a strong problem-solver
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
We are local distributor of Orthopaetic medical products, mainly deal with hospitals operation theatre, clinics, MMD, BME and other departments.
