Full Time QA-QC Inspector cum Inspector of Works Jobs, in Ditrolic Energy Perak - Maukerja

Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)

• Ensure all construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITP), and relevant standards.
• Conduct incoming material inspections and verify material approvals, certificates, and compliance before installation.
• Carry out routine site inspections and quality surveillance throughout all construction stages.
• Witness inspections, testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, checklists, QA/QC reports, and quality documentation.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Site Observation Reports (SOR), and monitor corrective and preventive actions until closure.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Verify that all completed works meet contractual and client quality requirements prior to handover.
• Review as-built documentation and quality dossiers before project completion.
• Participate in internal quality audits and support external/client audits.

Inspector of Works (IOW)

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site to ensure workmanship complies with approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect construction works before, during, and after execution.
• Witness critical construction activities, including hold points and witness points.
• Monitor contractor compliance with approved construction methods and project procedures.
• Verify dimensions, levels, alignments, and workmanship during construction.
• Ensure defects are rectified before subsequent works proceed.
• Maintain daily site inspection records and photographic documentation.
• Report construction progress, quality issues, and potential risks to the Project Manager.
• Attend site meetings, technical discussions, inspections, and coordination meetings.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with local authority requirements, statutory regulations, and industry best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Certified Inspector of Works (IOW) registration is an advantage where applicable.
• QA/QC certification (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor or equivalent) is preferred.
