About the role

Lead the overall project execution from project award through engineering coordination, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and final handover, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall project scope, budget, schedule, manpower resources, subcontractors and procurement activities to achieve project objectives while maintaining cost and programme control.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with the Client, Main Contractor, equipment vendors, consultants and relevant authorities, ensuring timely communication and effective stakeholder management.
• Develop detailed execution strategies, construction methodologies, resource plans and recovery programmes to mitigate schedule delays and project risks.
• Monitor project performance against key milestones, identify potential risks and constraints, and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain project progress.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, cleanroom protocols and client-specific semiconductor requirements.
• Lead weekly and monthly project review meetings, progress reporting, management presentations and coordination meetings with all project stakeholders.
• Oversee project engineering, material procurement, logistics planning and site resource deployment to ensure work fronts are available as scheduled.
• Provide leadership and direction to Project Engineers, Construction Managers, QA/QC personnel, Supervisors and Coordinators, promoting teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor project cost, productivity and resource utilisation, ensuring efficient execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
• Drive testing, commissioning, punch list clearance, client acceptance and project close-out activities to achieve successful project completion and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years in mechanical construction
• At least 5 years managing semiconductor tool installation projects
