Job Description

Responsibilities

Short Summary This Role :

Building, managing, and scaling high-impact partnerships that support TikTok Shop’s mission of enabling MSMEs, creators, and local businesses across Malaysia. This role works closely with government agencies, corporate partners, financial institutions, and internal teams to design and execute strategic programmed that drive platform growth, seller enablement, and positive social impact.

This position will support the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic initiatives — from opportunity scouting, proposal development, stakeholder management, programmed execution, to impact reporting. This role requires strong communication, structured thinking, agility in execution, and the ability to manage multiple programmed simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Partnership Coordination Support:

  • Assist in onboarding and maintaining dynamic relationships with government agencies, corporate brands, MSME associations, and community partners.
  • Prepare first drafts of pitch decks, briefs, meeting minutes, and partner-facing documents using established templates.
  • Maintain a clean, up-to-date master partner directory tracking agreement statuses and follow-up timelines.
  • Handle cross-functional project tasks, including light video edits for event recaps, simple graphic design adjustments, and survey/form setups.

2. Programme Execution Support:

  • Drive the successful rollout of high-visibility upskilling workshops, district roadshows, grant pipelines, and co-branded CSR initiatives.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics: venue sourcing, seller invitations, attendance tracking, and vendor coordination.
  • Oversee seller selection pipelines, communicate guidelines, and track participation against strict readiness checklists.
  • Monitor project health boards and flag operational bottlenecks early to team leads.

3. Data Tracking & Impact Analysis:

  • Manage shared performance dashboards tracking core KPIs: sellers onboarded, workshop sessions delivered, attendance rates, and Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) uplift.
  • Conduct practical data analysis (target vs. actuals, success rates, cost-per-seller metrics) and translate numbers into concise, actionable insights.
  • Draft weekly performance summaries highlighting key wins, operational roadblocks, and 2–3 concrete next steps.

4. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Communication:

  • Act as the responsive first line of contact for routine partner inquiries, escalating complex commercial issues smoothly.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams—including Marketing, Training, Category, Legal, Finance, and Creator/Affiliate teams—to unblock operational roadblocks.
  • Maintain an organized, shared document repository so that contracts, MoUs, and event assets are easily accessible.

5. On-Ground Event & Initiative Support:

  • Provide stellar on-ground execution during physical workshops, live launches, and community roadshows (registration, ushering, and speaker support).
  • Coordinate seller booths, live-stream showcases, and creator appearances seamlessly on-site.
  • Capture real-time media content, quotes, and attendance data to build comprehensive post-event impact reports.

6. Administrative & Governance Support:

  • Manage end-to-end document routing for MoUs, Statements of Work (SOWs), and internal compliance approvals.
  • Ensure all projects adhere strictly to internal risk, brand, and governance guidelines.
  • Handle day-to-day expense tracking and budget reconciliations

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Policy, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least have 2 to 4+ years of proven experience in strategic partnerships, government relations, program management, or e-commerce. Prior exposure to working with GLCs, SMEs, or grassroots community activations is a massive plus.
  • Good in verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with a proven talent for creating stellar pitch decks and proposals.
  • Highly adaptable, structured thinker who thrives in fast-paced, high-stake environments and can juggle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce marketplaces, creator/affiliate economies, and national MSME digitization agendas.
