Project Specialist (Safety Champions & Risk Management)

Contract Duration: 1 year
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours
Location: Singapore

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Specialist (Safety Champions & Risk Management) to support workplace safety initiatives and risk management programmes.

You will work closely with supervisors and Safety Champions to coordinate safety-related activities, develop training initiatives and promote a strong safety culture across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the formal appointment of Safety Champions

• Organise and facilitate Community of Practice sessions for Safety Champions

• Develop and disseminate safety advisories in response to significant safety incidents or emerging safety trends

• Support supervisors in analysing and documenting Serious Incident Reports

• Coordinate, track and administer customised bizSAFE training programmes for Safety Champions

• Serve as a Point-of-Contact for Safety Champions and provide administrative and programme support

• Support the development of safety-related frameworks, training materials and communication content

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders on safety and risk management initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in any relevant discipline

• Relevant experience in safety management, policy development, training management, learning & development or e-learning will be advantageous

• WSH, bizSAFE and/or ACLP certification will be an added advantage

• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to study and assess safety practices

• Good facilitation and presentation skills for conducting briefings and engagement sessions

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose practical safety measures

• Good communication and content development skills, with the ability to translate technical safety concepts into engaging materials

• Experience with e-learning development and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS) will be advantageous

• Understanding of adult learning principles and training material development

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

• Collaborative, proactive and self-motivated approach

• Strong attention to detail while maintaining a broader perspective

• Genuine interest in workplace safety and creating safer work environments
