Account Executive – Job Description Key Responsibilities: Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and payment processing.

Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers and supporting documents.

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely updating of accounting transactions. Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and relevant accounting schedules.

Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on customer payments. Process supplier invoices, payments and maintain proper records of accounts payable.

Assist in the preparation of budgets, cash flow projections and financial analysis.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks and other relevant parties when required.

Assist in the preparation of audit and tax schedules and provide supporting documents as requested.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records. Assist with year-end closing and other accounting-related matters.

Perform any other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

Relevant working experience in accounting or finance will be an advantage.

Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Good analytical, organisational and time-management skills.

Able to work independently as well as in a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. High level of accuracy, responsibility and attention to detail.
