WE ARE HIRING – ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented Account Manager to oversee the company's financial and accounting operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and provide timely financial insights to support management and business decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Accounting & Reporting
Manage and maintain a full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliation and Journal Entries
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly account closing
Prepare management reports, financial statements, and financial analysis
Perform inter-company and customer account reconciliation
Monitor fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules

Statutory & Compliance
Ensure compliance with LHDN, SST, MPERS Standards, and other relevant Malaysian regulations
Coordinate corporate tax submissions and annual audits
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and regulatory authorities
Prepare documentation for government audits and inspections
Ensure proper filing and retention of accounting documents

Costing & Budget Control
Review costing structures for automotive parts, accessories, and body & paint materials
Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditure
Analyse financial performance and variance between actual and forecasted results

Internal Control & Process Improvement
Implement and maintain effective accounting policies and internal control systems
Review and improve accounting workflows and operational efficiency
Support digitalisation and automation initiatives within the Account Department

Coordination & Management Support
Work closely with internal departments on invoicing, claims, payroll, and financial matters
Provide financial data and insights to support management decision-making and business planning
Handle ad-hoc projects, reporting, and assignments as required by Management

REQUIREMENTS

Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience in managing full sets of accounts
Experience in consolidation accounts is required
Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, statutory requirements, and taxation
Experience liaising with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and relevant authorities
Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and able to work independently

Experience in the Automotive Industry will be an added advantage!
