  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in an MIS/IT Manager role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in IT infrastructure, systems, and networks.
  • Strong leadership and accountability with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong strategic thinking aligned with organizational goals and IT roadmap.
  • Good project management, planning, and execution skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good decision-making skills, including the ability to make risk-based decisions under pressure.
  • Focused on service reliability, IT security, and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of AVD, Desktop/Laptop, SAP, and Microsoft products is required.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage daily IT operations and infrastructure to ensure smooth, reliable, and efficient IT services.
  • Monitor and coordinate IT issues reported by VACM users, ensuring proper communication and escalation to VAC IT Hanau and Syntax teams for timely resolution.
  • Manage network connectivity and performance to ensure stable internet availability across the company.
  • Coordinate endpoint lifecycle management, ensuring hardware reliability, Windows OS compliance, and proper maintenance through the Five9s console.
  • Work closely with Hanau to support and maintain legacy systems and PCs where required.
  • Monitor and resolve software-related issues to ensure all software remains compliant, up-to-date, and aligned with IT Hanau regulations.
  • Drive effective collaboration between local MIS and Hanau teams to ensure timely execution and successful delivery of IT projects.
  • Lead and coordinate the MIS team, including setting priorities, coordinating activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring tasks are completed according to business requirements.
  • Drive digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and cost-effectively.
  • Coordinate with Regional Managers, Enterprise teams, Hanau, Syntax, and other stakeholders to achieve effective system integration and scalability.
  • Ensure IT team performance and decision-making are aligned with established policies, procedures, business plans, and budget/resource guidelines.
  • Lead and support internal IT training, including team development, cross-skilling, technical capability, and continuous performance improvement.
  • Oversee the maintenance and compliance of telephone systems, CCTV, and access door systems.
  • Ensure accurate IT hardware inventory management, including maintaining up-to-date records of all hardware.
  • Prepare and submit monthly IT performance and operations reports for VACM.
  • Monitor and promote safe work practices, including reporting incidents and unsafe procedures.
  • Participate in and support continuous improvement activities to improve IT work processes and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure a high level of self-discipline and compliance with the employee handbook.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
