Responsibilities
A retail assistant in an adult lifestyle shop in Singapore provides confidential, non-judgmental customer service, operates the point-of-sale system, and maintains product displays.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Advisory:
Greet shoppers warmly, listen to their needs with discretion, and offer professional, and accurate advice on wellness and lifestyle items
Product Knowledge:
Master detailed features and usage instructions for body-safe products, novelties, and care items to explain benefits clearly
Cashiering & Operations:
Process sales accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, manage daily cash counts, and handle transactions confidentially
Store Upkeep:
Restock shelves, unpack new inventory discreetly, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor
Customer Privacy:
Uphold strict customer confidentiality and create a safe, respectful, and inclusive shopping environment
Requirements
Disposition:
Open-minded, mature, empathetic, and comfortable discussing adult wellness and intimacy topics.
Communication:
Good interpersonal skills with fluent English; proficiency in an additional local language is a plus.
Experience:
Prior retail, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred, though entry-level candidates with the right attitude are welcome.
Availability:
Willingness to work standard retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
