Job Description
Responsibilities
Job Scope:
Prepare quantity take-offs and review drawings, specifications, tender documents and contract requirements.
Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to achieve competitive pricing.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, tender pricing and cost comparisons for construction projects.
Compile and submit complete tender documents accurately within stipulated deadlines.
Conduct value engineering and identify potential cost savings, commercial risks and opportunities during the tender stage.
Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on tender clarifications and support project handover upon successful award.
Requirements:
Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying / Tender experience within the construction industry.
Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, market pricing, local contracts and procurement practices.
Experience with a
main contractor and building construction projects
will be an advantage.
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 9am-6pm
Working Location: Ubi
Salary: $6,500
