Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Accountant to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the
Central - easily accessible
Duties of Accountant:
Maintain financial accounts for assigned vessels
and ensure accurate record keeping.
Process invoices, payments, and
vessel-related expenses
to support timely financial operations.
Review and verify Disbursement Accounts (DA) and port invoices for accuracy and compliance.
Handle accounting for crew payroll, provisions, and port expenses.
Prepare monthly financial reports, cost analyses, and expense summaries.
Track vessel operating expenses (OPEX), investigate variances, and support cost control initiatives.
Assist in budget monitoring and forecasting activities in collaboration with technical teams.
Monitor vessel cash flow requirements and coordinate timely funding requests for operational needs.
Liaise with technical, crewing, and operations departments to ensure smooth financial processes.
Record financial transactions accurately and maintain proper supporting documentation.
Requirements:
Min 2 years experience in accounting experience in ship management or vessel accounting
