About the Roles
We are seeking a Project Manager (Construction) to oversee building projects across islandwide sites, with an office location at Ubi. This permanent position follows a 5.5-day work schedule (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm, and Saturday, 8.30am to 12.30pm) and offers a competitive package including basic salary, AWS, performance bonus, and transport allowance. The role provides an opportunity to lead construction operations, manage project delivery, and collaborate with key industry stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage daily construction operations and provide regular project updates to management.
- Lead project teams, including site supervisors, workers, contractors, and suppliers, to achieve project objectives.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment resources to support smooth project execution.
- Monitor project timelines, work quality, and safety standards to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
- Control manpower deployment and project expenditure to optimise resource utilisation.
- Conduct and participate in project and site meetings to align progress and expectations.
- Identify potential project challenges and implement suitable risk mitigation measures.
- Supervise quality inspections and ensure workplace safety and health compliance is maintained.
- Prepare project progress reports and keep accurate project documentation.
- Manage revisions to drawings, specifications, and work scopes with proper documentation.
- Maintain site records and documents in accordance with ISO requirements.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For
- Possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, or an equivalent qualification.
- Have at least 5 years of relevant construction experience.
- Able to interpret 2D/3D CAD and Revit BIM drawings.
- Possess good knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willing to work six days per week at construction sites and factory premises when required.
- Comfortable with accessing construction sites and rooftops as part of work duties.
- Possess a Class 2/3 driving licence and own transport.
