Job Summary

Manage comprehensive accounting functions including financial reporting, daily finance operations, reconciliations, GST submissions, and payroll processing to ensure accurate and compliant financial management. *Opportunity to work from home once a week*

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports to provide accurate financial insights.
• Compile unaudited financial statements to support internal and external reporting needs.
• Manage daily finance operations including payments, receipts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, petty cash, and staff claims to maintain smooth financial workflows.
• Reconcile balance sheet and profit & loss items along with accounting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and perform GST reconciliation to comply with tax regulations.
• Process monthly payroll and assist with CPF and IR8A form submissions to meet statutory requirements.
• Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
• Execute ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks as assigned to support business needs.

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accounting Officer or Executive.
• Proficient knowledge of government regulations and compliance requirements related to accounting and finance.
