Job Description

The Data Engineer will design, develop and maintain data platforms and pipelines that support business analytics and data-driven applications. The role involves working with large datasets, developing scalable data solutions and ensuring data is reliable, secure and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT processes for data integration.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists and software engineers.
• Maintain data platforms, documentation and security standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT or data-platform development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
• Programming experience with Python, Java or similar languages.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, data warehouses and data modelling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
