SOTC Play & Development Sdn. Bhd (Playvelope) is a dynamic special needs intervention and educational centre committed to empowering children with diverse developmental needs through personalized, evidence-based interventions.
Due to our business expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychology Clinical Psychologist to support our growing multidisciplinary therapy team in delivering holistic care and early intervention services.
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations using evidence-based methods.
- Diagnose mental health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy to address psychological issues.
- Administer psychological tests and interpret the results to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychological support when required.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on new treatments and research.
- Offer consultations and training to staff or other stakeholders on mental health-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
- At least Master in Psychology, Clinical Psychologist or related course from an accredited institution.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, psychotherapy, children healthcare, etc
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in administering psychological assessments and utilizing evidence-based therapy methods.
