Food Safety and Hygiene Quality Control (QC) duties include (but not limited to):
Food Handling and cooking activities of the central kitchens to comply with food safety Pre-Requiste Programs (PRPs) and Critical Control Points (CCPs).
Food Sample Retention. To ensure cooked food samples are properly collected, labelled and stored.
Personal Hygiene & Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Cleaning & its chemicals.
Pest Control.
Equipment Maintenance and Calibration.
Record Keeping. All records related to PRPs and CCPs are monitored and filled on a regular basis to meet the requirements of the food safety management system.
Food Safety Training. To support any training program when required.
Investigation Report. To assist in the investigation of any food incidents as well as drafting of the report to identify the root cause and its appropriate corrective actions.
Any other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
Diploma or ITE Certificate in Food Science, Chemistry or any related disciplines.
Preferably with 1 year working experience.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Working knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000 or any Food Safety Management System is a plus
Good interpersonal skills with the attributes of a team player and a keen eye for details.
Positive attitude and learning mindset.
Able to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
Able to perform basic statistical collation.
Working hours: 5 days per week (including public holidays and weekends); rotating shift, 5am - 1pm / 11am - 7pm
Transport is claimable for 5am shift.
