Full Time Risk Analyst, Analysis - Reporting Jobs, in MENA Careers - Maukerja

The Role

This is an analyst position within the Risk and Performance Management Department of a global asset manager, based in Singapore. The team sits within the Analysis and Reporting function and is responsible for the independent assessment, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of investment risk profiles across asset classes and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Work with risk managers to design and produce investment risk and performance reports across asset classes and strategies.
• Check reports with attention to detail and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders.
• Provide analysis and explanations for performance and risk numbers within reports.
• Raise, investigate, and follow up on issues related to data quality and report content.
• Work with the Technology Group to implement and enhance risk modelling and performance attribution methodologies.
• Identify weaknesses, redundancies, and inefficiencies in existing processes and propose improvements to productivity, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
  
  

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum two years of experience in an analytical or reporting role at a financial institution.
• Degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a quantitatively oriented field.
• Experience analysing risk factors and modelling risks such as volatility, tracking error, and stress scenarios is preferred.
• Working knowledge of multi-asset modelling is viewed favourably.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and take initiative.
• Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or Tableau, and experience handling large analytical datasets, is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and skills development.
  
  

Work Arrangement

The global asset manager operates a hybrid model. Most employees are expected to work three to four days per week in the office and one to two days remotely.
