Job Description

Responsibilities

68 Systems & Project Engineering Pte Ltd, a member of Exeo Global Group, is looking for a WSHO - Workplace Safety & Health Officer.

Ensuring Workplace Safety

– Identifying and mitigating potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.

Compliance with Regulations

– Ensuring the company adheres to health and safety laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Risk Assessment and Management

– Conducting risk assessments and developing safety measures to minimize risks.

Training and Awareness

– Educating employees about safety policies, procedures, and best practices.

Incident Investigation

– Investigating accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to prevent future occurrences.

Emergency Preparedness

– Developing and implementing emergency response plans, including fire drills and first aid procedures.

Workplace Inspections

– Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Health and Hygiene Monitoring

– Ensuring workers have access to necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining hygiene standards.

Enforcing Safety Policies

– Implementing and enforcing company safety rules and regulations.

Reporting and Documentation

– Keeping detailed records of accidents, safety violations, and corrective actions.

Liaising with Authorities

– Collaborating with regulatory bodies, auditors, and legal entities to ensure compliance.

Promoting a Safety Culture

– Encouraging a safety-conscious mindset among employees and management.

Implementing Safety Programs

– Designing safety training programs and initiatives to improve workplace safety.

Hazardous Material Handling

– Ensuring the proper use, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

Reviewing Safety Policies

– Regularly updating safety policies based on new regulations and workplace needs.
