Job Summary

Quantity Surveyor

You will manage cost analysis, subcontractor negotiations, quantity measurements, and prepare variation orders and claims to ensure accurate project financial control and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparisons to support project budgeting and decision-making
• Obtain quotations and negotiate terms with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable contracts
• Measure quantities accurately to ensure precise project cost tracking
• Prepare variation orders, claims, final accounts, settlements, and subcontractor payments to maintain financial accuracy
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external project stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution
• Perform all other quantity surveying related tasks to support project requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or related fields
• Experience working on LTA MRT projects is preferred
• Demonstrate meticulousness, analytical skills, and attention to detail in project tasks
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently with initiative

Pay: $5,800.00 - $6,800.00 per month
