Full Time Assistant Engineer Jobs, Salary up to SGD 3,000 in SCHOTT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. Central Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

1. Shift Operations Management

·       Lead and supervise production operators and technicians during the assigned shift.

·       Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures.

·       Monitor production activities and take corrective actions to resolve operational issues.

·       Conduct shift handover meetings and communicate critical information.

 2. Production Planning & Shipment Coordination

·       Plan and prioritize daily production activities according to shipment requirements.

·       Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure on-time delivery.

·       Review production schedules and adjust priorities based on customer demand and capacity constraints.

·       Monitor order fulfillment status and expedite urgent customer requirements.

3. Data Monitoring & Analysis

·       Track key operational KPIs including:

·       Production Output

·       OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

·       On-Time Delivery (OTD)

·       Scrap Rate

·       Yield Performance

·       Downtime

·       Backlog Status

·       Analyze production and shipment data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

·       Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

·       Escalate potential delivery risks to management promptly.

·4. Resource Management

·       Plan manpower allocation according to production requirements.

·       Monitor workforce attendance, overtime, and productivity.

·       Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational targets.

·       Support training and competency development of operators.

5. Continuous Improvement

·       Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

·       Identify process bottlenecks affecting productivity or shipment performance.

·       Support lean manufacturing, 5S, and operational excellence programs.

·       Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

·6. Quality & Compliance

·       Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

·       Support internal and external audits.

·       Investigate production deviations and implement corrective actions.

·       Promote a strong safety culture within the shift team.
