Role Description:

You will work on interior design projects from concept through detailed design and implementation, collaborating closely with senior designers and project leaders.


Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing space plans, mood boards, and material palettes, and producing drawings and presentations for client reviews. Coordination with all consultants, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained through documentation, specifications, and site coordination.


The role also involves participating in client meetings, incorporating feedback, and contributing to sustainable and context-sensitive design solutions aligned with URBNarc’s vision.


This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore.


Qualifications

  • Strong interior design and space planning skills, with experience in concept development and detailed design for residential, hospitality, or commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Ability to develop material, furniture, and lighting palettes, with a good understanding of finishes, detailing, and construction methods.
  • Experience preparing presentations, design reports, and drawings that communicate ideas clearly to clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of sustainable material finishes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience at an intermediate level.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a diverse, international team and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and readiness to participate in site visits, coordination meetings, and project reviews.
