Job Description

As a Recruitment Consultant within the Sales & Marketing team, you will operate as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates, managing end‑to‑end recruitment for commercial, revenue‑driving roles. The position combines business development, client consultancy and talent engagement, requiring strong commercial acumen, relationship‑building capability and a results‑driven mindset in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Building and sustaining long‑term relationships with clients across Sales & Marketing functions
  • Identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities through consultative, value‑led discussions
  • Understanding clients' commercial objectives and advising on hiring strategies aligned to business growth
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from role briefing through to offer and placement
  • Negotiating terms, fees and service agreements to create mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Developing deep market knowledge and staying ahead of industry, hiring and talent trends
  • Attracting, assessing and engaging high‑calibre commercial candidates
  • Guiding both clients and candidates through interview, feedback and offer stages to ensure a seamless experience
  • Managing multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining high service standards
  • Collaborating closely with a high‑performing team to share insights, drive results and celebrate success

They Will Typically Demonstrate

  • A strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding of how Sales & Marketing roles drive business outcomes
  • Proven experience in recruitment, sales or a commercially focused, target‑driven role
  • Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including Commercial Directors and business leaders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly
  • Resilience and perseverance, with the ability to handle pressure, ambiguity and rejection
  • A proactive, results‑driven approach to business development and opportunity creation
  • The curiosity and discipline to become a market expert within their sector
  • A collaborative mindset, celebrating team success while striving for personal excellence
