Job Description

• Manage daily IT support operations, including PC, infrastructure, telecom, and Industry 4.0.
• Supervise and guide the local IT support team.
• Set priorities and coordinate team activities.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues.
• Develop and improve the Manufacturing Plant IT strategy.
• Provide first-line IT support when required.
• Lead and participate in Manufacturing Digitalization projects.
• Plan and implement team training and cross-skilling.
• Improve IT service quality, productivity, and processes.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and effective communication.
• Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Work closely with HQ/Global IT teams and implement global IT standards.
• Ensure IT systems, data, and information security are maintained.
• Conduct regular security audits and ensure proper documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial position.
• ITIL background.
• Experience in an international manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good influencing and persuasion skills.
• Ability to make timely decisions in complex situations.
• Willingness and ability to travel when required.
• Good tact and diplomacy when handling sensitive matters.

Work Conditions

• Professional office environment.
• PPE must be worn when working on the manufacturing floor.
• Travel to manufacturing facilities/customer locations when required.
• Proper training is required when operating relevant equipment.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
