Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our research team in the field of advanced photonic materials under the Advanced Optical Technologies Department. The scientist will develop high refractive index nanocomposites and its scaling-up process for fabrication of flat optics and AR waveguides via nanoimprint lithography.

Key Responsibilities

• Nanoparticle synthesis, polymer matrix formulation, materials properties characterization (dispersion, optical properties, thermal stability and etc).
• Small scale fabrication of resins/nanocomposites
• Support translational research and collaborations with industry partners.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Polymer Science or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in nanoparticle synthesis and polymer synthesis
• Experience in materials characterization techniques (TEM/SEM, DLS, ellipsometer, spectrometry and etc. ), nanoimprint lithography and cleanroom processes,
• Strong analytical, experimental, and problem-solving skills
• Strong track record of publications in relevant fields.
• Good team player who can collaborate with industry and academic partners.
