As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the architecture, development, scalability, and modernization of CPRV’s CRM and AI-enabled platforms. You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-grade software applications while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the technical direction of the engineering team.

Your expertise in Java (including JSP Servlet and SpringBoot), HTML, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL/NOSQL databases, Docker, CI/CD methodologies, cloud services, AI-assisted development practices, and modern software engineering principles will be essential in delivering scalable, secure, and innovative customer engagement solutions.

You will collaborate closely with business development, product, infrastructure, data, and customer-facing teams to ensure that our platforms not only meet but exceed customer expectations while enabling AI-driven innovation across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and optimization of scalable CRM and AI-enabled applications.
• Collaborate with business development and product teams to modernize and enhance legacy CRM platforms and customer engagement solutions.
• Architect and implement enterprise-grade software solutions using Java (JSP Servlet, SpringBoot), Node.js, JavaScript, SQL/NOSQL databases, Docker, cloud-native technologies, and microservices architecture.
• Drive the integration of AI-powered capabilities such as intelligent automation, conversational interfaces, recommendation engines, AI-assisted workflows, predictive insights, and operational optimization tools.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent platforms) to improve engineering productivity, code quality, troubleshooting, documentation, and delivery efficiency.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and system designs.
• Lead technical discussions, solution architecture reviews, and engineering best practice initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, knowledge sharing, and development planning.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, security practices, observability, scalability, and software engineering governance across projects.
• Maintain comprehensive software and system documentation, including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, deployment processes, and operational runbooks.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across production and non-production environments with strong root cause analysis capabilities.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure reliability, deployment automation, and monitoring practices.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, AI frameworks, cloud services, and software engineering trends to drive innovation and technical improvements within CPRV.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Core Java with over 7 years of experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in AWS/Azure cloud services.
• More than 3 years of experience in CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies.
• Over 5 years of experience with RESTful services, API architecture, and system integrations.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in MS SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proven track record (4+ years) in CRM, SaaS, Customer Engagement, or Martech environments.
• Solid experience (4+ years) in:
• Data Warehousing technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Data Processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Apache Beam, AWS Glue).
• Messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, PubSub) and stream processing.
• Building and operating cloud-native applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Strong understanding of scalable system architecture, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native engineering principles.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies, LLM integrations, prompt engineering, AI APIs, AI orchestration frameworks, or AI-assisted software development practices is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with vector databases, RAG architectures, conversational AI platforms, and AI workflow automation is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, application performance optimization, observability, and system reliability engineering.
• Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering best practices across teams.
