Responsibilities
Responsibilities for Mental Health Nurse:
Provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised care plans.
Support patients' recovery by providing education, therapeutic communication, and emotional support.
Monitor patients' progress and communicate significant clinical updates to the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation while complying with hospital policies and professional nursing standards.
Foster a safe and therapeutic environment that promotes patients' well-being and recovery.
Mentor junior nurses and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications for Mental Health Nurse:
Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) licence.
Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Mental Health) will be an advantage.
Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
Able to respond calmly and professionally in challenging situations.
A collaborative team player with initiative and adaptability.
Interest in developing a career in mental health nursing.
Able to work rotating 3-shift schedules.
