Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Server Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Tableau Server environments across Dev, QA, and Production. 

In this role, you will lead server upgrades, manage user permissions and site governance, automate administrative workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure and DevOps teams. 

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in enterprise Tableau architecture on RHEL/Linux, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and post-upgrade production support. 

Required Skills

·      Tableau Server Administration: Hands-on experience administering and upgrading enterprise Tableau Server environments in Production. 

·      Architecture & TSM: In-depth knowledge of Tableau Server architecture, TSM services, logs, backup/restore procedures, and troubleshooting. 

·      Linux Expertise: Proficiency in running and managing Tableau Server on Linux/RHEL environments. 

·      Enterprise Deployment: Strong understanding of Tableau Desktop/Server compatibility and enterprise release management. 

Preferred Skills

·      Automation & Scripting: Experience with Python, Tableau REST API, Server Client (TSC), and tabcmd. 

·      DevOps / CI/CD: Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, and Ansible.
