Job Description
Responsibilities
The client is the world’s leading oilfield services provider which specialized in the manufacturing of electrical submergible pumps for the oil and gas industry.
We are hiring experienced QC Technicians to support incoming, in-process and final quality inspections.
Main Responsibilities
Operate and program FARO or Hexagon Arm Portable CMM.
Perform dimensional, visual and functional inspections.
Use CMM, callipers, micrometres, height gauges, thread gauges and hardness-testing equipment.
Read engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
Prepare inspection reports and quality records.
Review material certificates, CoC, dimensional reports, thread certificates and other supplier quality documents.
Report non-conforming products and support quality issue investigations.
Requirements
ITE, NITEC or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant QC inspection experience.
FARO or Hexagon Arm operation and programming experience is essential.
Able to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
Basic Microsoft Office and quality reporting skills.
NDE Level II Penetrant Testing or CWI certification is preferred.
