Full Time Assistant Manager-Maintenance Jobs, Salary up to MYR 8,000 in SOGO (KL) Department Store Federal Territory - Maukerja

Responsibilities:-

• Oversees M&E systems, facilities, and maintenance across Sogo’s outlets.
• Standardizes facilities procedures and leads decentralized, in-house store maintenance teams.
• Manages annual OPEX/CAPEX maintenance budgets, vendor contracts, and monthly compliance reporting.
• Minimizes system downtime, extends asset life, and ensures compliance with Malaysian building regulations.

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid Chargeman BO Certificate is a distinct advantage; energy management certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in M&E engineering, preferably within retail malls or multi-site commercial properties.
• Proven track record of managing and scheduling decentralized technical teams across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian building codes, Bomba certifications, OSHA guidelines, and DOSH/JKKP mandates.
• Deep expertise in high-tension electrical systems, central HVAC plants, generators, and life-safety systems.
• Willingness to travel frequently across all 5 store locations.
• Flexibility to respond to critical M&E emergencies outside of standard working hours.
• Professional verbal and written proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
