Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst / Central Key User specializing in Sales & Distribution (SD) to oversee, optimize, and streamline our regional Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
In this regional role, you will act as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders across APAC and global IT technical teams. You will drive process standardization, manage system change requests, support major ERP transformations (including S/4HANA initiatives), and enable key user networks throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Improvement & Alignment
- Consolidate and represent APAC regional business requirements within a single global ERP framework.
- Drive cross-functional alignment to balance regional commercial needs with global standardization.
- Support continuous process improvements to enhance user experience and optimize workflow efficiency across Order-to-Cash (O2C) functions.
2. Demand & Change Management
- Evaluate, specify, and approve system change requests to align with global ERP strategies.
- Oversee end-to-end testing, validation, and quality assurance prior to system deployment in productive environments.
- Manage ticket lifecycle for system incidents and enhancement requests via enterprise ticketing tools.
3. Key User Enablement & Stakeholder Advisory
- Consult, advise, and empower local key user (LKU) organizations across sales offices and manufacturing facilities in APAC.
- Design, document, and deliver multi-format training programs (documentation, presentations, video tutorials) for international key users.
- Coordinate cross-module alignments with Finance (FI/CO) and Materials Management/Procurement (MM) teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.
4. SAP Authorization & Governance
- Manage SAP user roles and authorization assignments in strict compliance with internal audit standards and global regulatory requirements.
- Participate in annual global authorization reviews to ensure system security and data integrity.
- Deliver accurate account-level reporting and business analysis for regional leadership.
5. Transformation Projects
- Serve as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) in regional and global ERP initiatives, including upcoming S/4HANA rollout programs.
- Participate in organizational change management (OCM), project specification, system testing, and deployment.
- Act as the functional lead during global IT rollouts and system upgrades.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and deep functional knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Strong understanding of integration points with adjacent modules (FI/CO, MM).
- Proven track record in facilitating process optimization and participating in large-scale ERP implementations or upgrades (S/4HANA experience is a plus).
- Analytical, structured problem-solver capable of managing regional projects independently.
- Excellent business English communication and presentation skills, with high intercultural competence.
- Experience working with cross-border, international teams.
- Willingness to travel regionally/globally as required by project milestones (focus on APAC).
