Full Time STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Jobs, Salary up to SGD 3,500 in MULTIMEDIA ENGINEERING PTE LTD West Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design and delivery of steel, cable, and tensile membrane structures, including structural analysis, 3Dmodelling, engineering calculations, and technical coordination with project and fabrication teams.

Salary rate                    : $3500 - $5000per month

Job Responsibilities

• Design and analyze steel, cable, and tensile membrane structures in accordance with project specifications, relevant codes, and engineering standards.
• Perform structural calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) and prepare design reports, engineering submissions, and technical documentation.
• Develop and review 3D models, structural shop drawings, and fabrication drawings to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Design and review steel connections, welding details, structural members, and connection systems, including the use of IDEA StatiCa where applicable.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, fabricators, and project teams to resolve structural design and technical requirements.
• Coordinate closely with fabrication and installation teams and provide technical solutions for fabrication, erection, and site-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to ensure construction and installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Provide technical support throughout construction and erection works, monitor structural progress, and address design or site issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in value engineering, design optimization, tender proposals, and development of innovative structural solutions to improve project performance and constructability.
• Support the development of computational mechanics, engineering tools, and design workflows, including the use of Python and computational design methods where applicable.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably in steel structures, specialist structures, or construction.
• Strong knowledge and experience in structural analysis, engineering calculations, FEA, and structural design.
• Proficient in 3D modelling, analysis, and design software, particularly Rhino and Grasshopper; experience with IDEA StatiCa will be an advantage.
• Experience in the design and analysis of steel structures, cable structures, and structural connections, including fabrication and detailing.
• Experience in tensile membrane systems and ETFE skylights will be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of programming and computational design using Python, C++, Fortran, or other relevant programming languages will be an added advantage.
