Job Description

Responsibilities

Planning the construction project.

  • Creating a construction schedule.
  • Balancing the budget.
  • Assigning tasks to the various contractorsand subcontractors.
  • Tracking activities in a project frombeginning to end.
  • Working with vendors.
  • Managing supplies.
  • Define the project scope.
  • Create and manage a constructionproject budget.
  • Create a construction projectmanagement plan.
  • Negotiate with general contractors andsubcontractors to obtain profitable construction contracts.
  • Develop a construction schedule, withproject deliverables and milestones.
  • Manage resources such as constructionmaterials, construction workers and equipment.
  • Oversee the performance of the generalcontractor, site manager and other members of the construction team.
