Job Description

Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEW

To provide administrative and analytical support to the investor relations team of a Bursa Malaysia listed company, assisting with investor communications, regulatory documentation, and market information under supervision, while developing an understanding of listed company disclosure and capital market practices.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Regulatory & Corporate Disclosure

  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of announcements, circulars, and disclosures in accordance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Securities Commission guidelines, and internal governance policies.
  • Support the compilation of information for quarterly financial results announcements and annual reporting.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of disclosures, announcements, and investor communications.

Investor & Analyst Engagement

  • Assist in preparing presentation materials for quarterly results briefings, analyst meetings, investor roadshows, and conference calls, including fact sheets and FAQs based on financial and operational performance.
  • Coordinate logistics for analyst briefings, earnings calls, and investor meetings, including but not limited to internal coordination with Strategic Communications, Legal and Company Secretary.
  • Maintain and update analyst coverage lists, investor databases, and shareholder records.

Financial, Market & Data Support

  • Track share price movements, trading volumes, and analyst reports on a routine basis.
  • Compile basic market data, peer comparisons, and summaries for internal use.
  • Assist in updating internal IR dashboards and reference materials.

Adhoc

  • Provide support on including but not limited to assisting with special projects, materials preparation associated with Group Finance.
  • Assist with ad-hoc assignments and projects as required by management.


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, audit, corporate reporting, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • Professional membership with recognised accounting bodies is preferred.
  • Exposure to listed company reporting, Bursa Malaysia disclosures, or capital markets will be an added advantage.


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Good understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and accurate disclosures.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight reporting timelines.
  • Professional integrity with the ability to handle confidential and price-sensitive information.


COMPETENCIES

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiar with the use of SAP/Oracle or any other accounting software
